As my most-utilized app on the phone, kakao is amazing in utility and design! Now that it’s available on the mac, I love how I can use my computer to kakao too when I’m too lazy about getting my phone or texting long messages. Probably my only minor annoyance with it is that it notifies my phone when I sign in on my computer account and I feel that it’s unnecessary. Overall, great app though!

what kind of update adds on more bugs and make it more unstable? this seems like a pattern within every other updates ive been receiving. i have a strong doubt that you guys actually test these before releasing it to the public.

Crashes every time I open a chat.

it says 10.8 or above, my OS is 10.8.5, not working. "Check with the developer to make sure KakaoTalk works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X." is there any way to downgrade or download previous version? PLZ!!!

Updated to this version and I lost my long time friend..yah its you Kakao! It wouldnt even open in OSX 10.8.5. Good grief!

really cant understand.. Dont you guys dont check before releasing updated ver? Check! Double Check!! Triple Check!!! Before updating or downgrading what so ever… So upset and disappointed…Its been a week !

The new update brought me a new bug that would crash when the app is starting. I have to keep restarting the app until I see the Kakao window on my desktop.

It doesnt work after the updates. I updated kakaotalk and also the software. I don’t know why but it keeps saying that it has a networking error.

I have to update to use this app but I cannot update this app because my macs softwate version is 10.7.5. I checked my computer if there is any software update, but there wasnt any. Please fix it for me! Thanks.

Overall, the app itself needs a little more accessibility improvements. I use kakao Talk for iOS on my iPhone and the accessibility is reasonably good but not great as it use to be. However on the mac version most buttons are not labeled and therefore VoiceOver isn’t able to read me anything back. Other then that the app seemed to work fine, but it is hard for blind users like me to use them due to a major accessibility issue.

I’ve been using Kakao Messengers for quite a while and I think its time to add functions like free call or video chat like PCs. PLEASE!!!!! Add these functions!

Please add calling service asap feel like i can use only 1/4 of whole kakaotalk services on mac.

The best messenger app I ever seen

When I double click and open photos from a chat, it opens the photo, but it is very tiny photo that I can barely see what it is.

Cant connect stil to kakao talk on my mac.

Finally a voice call feature for Mac! Very nicely well done Team Kakao!
