Update problem

Can’t update :( What’s wrong?

Language issue

My app suddenly turned to Korean and I don’t find the option to come back to English...

crashes

every time i try to open it it just crashes…been like this since the previous update, and this one… please fix.

Fixed what?

Does not work on Yosemite. Can’t even load chats. Totally useless. Also, if you’re curious about how this thing has 3 and a half stars, go to see the comments for all versions and sort by most recent. That’ll unleash the frustration of the current users because this version is totally unfunctional.

Can’t Login

I can’t login anymore because the password box limits passwords to 16 characters. My password is longer than that.

still a piece of crap

when will you fix this so that it will load the chat in real time instead of having the user close and reopen the chat window to see what people wrote?

Voice Call Echo issue

I love that there is Kakao for talking to relatives overseas but the quality of the call is very bad. There has always been an echo from my end of the line (USA). So as much as I appreciate this function, it would be VASTLY more appreciated and used if there wasn’t an annoying echo problem that makes you lose your train of thought hearing your voice echo back what youre saying 3 seconds later.

Doesn’t work after the update

The Chat doesn’t load… Whenever I click on the chat, it shows the loading sign for couple seconds and it just log out on its own. Fix please

Please allow us to remove the Menu bar icon!

Kakao Talk for OS X is mostly fine and nice to have. But it is super annoying that there is no way to remove the icon from the menu bar. I have the icon in the dock, I don’t need it in the menu bar as well! Please allow this option! Also slightly annoying is that you have to double click on your chats to open them. Why? Why not just one click? Finally, it would be nice if we could login to our chats screen not to our contacts screen. I’m pretty sure most people are going direclty to chats they are in, not making new ones. At least not most of the time. It would be nice to change this so that the start screen is the chats, or ad an option so we can choose.

Getting better

There have been a lot of improvements since October 10th. Keep up the good work!

Crashing

It is crashing everytime I enter the first message.

STILL QUITTING UNEXPECTEDLY

I was pretty excited about the “minor bug fix.” What fix? When I open the app on my mac it just says the program has quit unexpectedly. Same problem existed in the previous version. Could you please answer why the program is quitting unexpectedly? I sent the reports several times. Does anyone care about this?

could use improvement

i’m glad a mac version of this app was finally released. however, there are a few issues that i feel could make the experience more user-friendly. first off, it is annoying to have to log in to this app every time i open it up—there should be a setting where i can select remember password. another design issue, in my opinion, is that clicking on a chat opens it up in a completely new window. it would be better if all the chats were incorporated into the ONE window of the app. overall i’m glad that this app exists, and hope to see it continue to improve upon itself in the future.
